Starting and ending in two cities with a longstanding tradition in La Vuelta. For Valladolid, this will be the thirty-fourth time that a stage starts from this city, and the twenty-first time that Salamance will be a stage ending point. In the case of the capital city of Valladolid, homage has been planned to be paid to Spain’s famed “ronda” on its 75th annieversay. On April 29, 1935, the first stage of La Vuelta a España was held, and Valladolid was the city hosting the stage finish.
