The teams will be the great protagonists in the
first stage of La Vuelta once again. The same as in the two previous
years in Valencia and Gijón, the riders will face a team
time trial along the streets of the beautiful city of León,
this first trial will make them taste the frantic speed as early
as the very first stage as the route is very flat with just a 500
metre-long slight slope.
At the highest point of the route the Mountain Prize will be set,
so that the first Gold Jersey and the first Mountain Grand Prix
could be given at the end of this first stage. |
